Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread toasted (or your favorite bread)
  • 1 block firm tofu 6.5 oz / 180g
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 3/4 tsp kala namak or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Start by crumbling tofu and seasoning it with kala namak, pepper, turmeric, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  • Next, mash the avocado and mix it in with the seasoned tofu. If needed, add a little more lemon juice to give the mixture a bright, tangy flavor.
  • Toast some bread and spread the tofucado mixture on top. You can also add some lettuce or tomato for some extra crunch and flavor.
