PIMIENTOS DE PADRÓN (SPANISH TAPAS)

Pimientos de Padrón are a classic Spanish tapas dish that is naturally vegan. These small green peppers are quick to cook and full of flavor, making them a perfect appetizer or snack. Nowadays, many supermarkets sell them, so you can enjoy this simple dish at home easily.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Padrón peppers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • coarse sea salt

Instructions

  • Wash the Padrón peppers and pat them dry.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the peppers and sauté for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are blistered and slightly charred.
  • Transfer the peppers to a serving plate.
  • Sprinkle generously with coarse sea salt and serve immediately.
